Rotary drum scrubber screen operation manual

When the ore needs to be crushed with a relatively weak scrubbing force, Rotary drum scrubber screen can be used to wash the ore. The screening cylinder is made of punched steel plates or woven mesh screens, and is equipped with high-pressure flushing water pipes inside the cylinder. By rotating the sieve tube, the ore is flipped and collided with each other to obtain fragments. Fine particles and ore slurry smaller than the sieve hole are discharged through the receiving funnel, while coarse ore blocks are unloaded from the tail end of the cylinder.

Operating Procedures for Rotary Scrubber Screen

1. Observe the water level in the pool before starting up to ensure that the water pump is in working condition with water

2. Before starting the equipment, the operator should add lubricating grease to the roller ring gear of the Rotary scrubber screen, check whether the lubricating oil in the transmission gearbox has deteriorated and is sufficient, and replenish it in a timely manner if it is insufficient.

3. The starting sequence of the Rotary scrubber screen is to first start the water pump motor to inject water into the drum, then start the feeding belt conveyor, and then start the motor of the Rotary scrubber screen. When starting, pay attention to whether the equipment is running in the correct direction, and then start the discharge conveyor motor.

4. During the work process, the operator should observe and clean the small slag washed out at any time, without affecting the normal operation of the Rotary scrubber screen.

5. During the work process, it is strictly prohibited for anyone to insert their head or hands into the drum of the Rotary scrubber screen for observation or operation.

6. During the work process, the operator pays attention to observing the surroundings and cooperates with the operation of the loading loader. When there is no material in the silo, the loader worker is notified in a timely manner to load the material, ensuring the continuous operation of the ore washing production line and ensuring their own safety. The discharge conveyor accurately transports the cleaned materials to the predetermined finished material pile for stacking and storage.

7. During the work process, the operator should observe the cleanliness of the washed ore at all times and adjust the feeding amount to ensure that qualified materials are washed out.

8. After the work is completed, the loading truck should be stopped to feed the silo first, and then the feeding conveyor should be stopped to feed the Rotary scrubber screen. Wait for the Rotary scrubber screen to completely discharge the material in the drum before stopping the operation of the Rotary scrubber screen. Then stop the discharge conveyor and water pump, and finally turn off the main power switch; Clean up the site and keep records of equipment operation

The transmission part of the Rotary scrubber screen, such as the V-belt, needs to be inspected and adjusted. Its working principle is to drive the rotor components to rotate at high speed through the V-belt. The material enters the action area of the spiral blades, is impacted and broken by the high-speed rotating rotor spiral blades, and is thrown towards the counterattack lining plate for further breakage. Then it bounces back from the counterattack panel to the action area of the spiral blades for further breakage. Therefore, the transmission part must be maintained.

The cycle for replacing lubricating grease in bearings and other parts is generally about 400 hours after using the Rotary scrubber screen, and the cleaning cycle is generally about 2000 hours after working.

Wear inspection includes the central feeding tube, impeller upper and lower channel liners, circumferential guards, conical caps, and wear-resistant blocks. During inspection, it is important to note that the equipment must be shut down before proceeding. Wear and tear can be repaired by welding or replacing the drum

Working principle of Rotary scrubber screen

The Rotary scrubber screen cleaning cylinder is supported by four tugboats, and the motor drives the reducer. The large and small gears drive the cleaning cylinder to rotate at low speed. The material is fed into the rotating drum through the feeding port, and is continuously lifted and dropped by a wear-resistant rubber lining plate installed at a certain angle in the cleaned drum. During the movement from the feeding end to the discharging end, it circulates multiple times and is washed by forward or reverse flushing water. The cleaned material is screened and dehydrated by the discharge end drum screen before being discharged. Wastewater containing sludge flows out through perforated baffles at the discharge or feed end.
