    Activated carbon carbonization furnace machine consists of equipment such as conveyor, high-temperature furnace, dust removal, coke removal, purification, gas cabinet, and distribution cabinet. It is a new type of continuous carbonization equipment that integrates high efficiency, environmental protection, and intelligence.

  • Working principle

    Working principle

    1.The continuous drum carbonization machine is a professional equipment that continuously heats and carbonizes materials under oxygen-free or oxygen-deficient conditions. 

    2.It consists of a single-layer carbonization machine or a two-layer carbonization machine, a preheating natural gas burner (or diesel, liquefied petroleum gas burner), a combustible gas purification device, an external heating furnace for the carbonization machine, a feeding conveyor, a cooling carbonization machine, and a power distribution operation control device. 

    3.The interior of the carbonization machine is divided into four areas: a drying area, a heating area, a carbonization area, and a calcination area. 

    4.The material is transported into the carbonization machine drum by a conveyor. 

    4.1 The material is dried and preheated to above 250°C using the heat environment in the furnace, 

    4.2 then it enters the drum high-temperature carbonization area at 350-650°C for carbonization.

    4.3 Finally, the material carbon is calcined at high temperature in the calcination area to achieve the product carbon quality requirements and complete the material carbonization. 

    5.The drum is equipped with an air outlet and a discharge box. The combustible gas produced by carbonization is discharged from the air outlet. The wood tar, wood acid, water and ash are separated by the combustible gas purification system to obtain pure combustible gas. The gas is sent to the external heating furnace of the carbonizer for full combustion to heat the carbonizer, achieving reciprocating heating carbonization and continuous production. 

    6.The carbonized product is discharged from the discharge box into the carbonizer, cooled by water to below 40°C, and the carbon is discharged safely. The excess combustible gas from carbonization can be used for drying raw materials or sent out as fuel.

    Working steps

    1. Spiral conveyor feeding device, conveying materials.

    2. Carbonization furnace with high temperature and oxygen free carbonization.

    3. Purification devices purify gases and recycle them for reuse.

    4. Ignite biomass in the combustion chamber and heat the combustion chamber.

    5. Gas fan purifies and recovers combustible gases.
